The House of Bodegarde is a family in the Metal Shadow universe. It is the wealthiest family in the Seventh Sky and has been for over a millenia, hence making them the effective rulers of that Sky.
Their name comes from the Old Tongue "bode" which means "low" and "garde" which means "lord"; together meaning low lord, an ironic name given their status.
