A dragon is a type of beastie in the Metal Shadow universe. It first appeared in Metal Shadow Prelude.
The dragon had attacked Elf Squad. It was black, extremely large, covered in scales, with red eyes. How large it was was not specified, but it was likely taller than twenty feet. Agent Lair remembered how to seal dragons in a moment of distress and sealed it. She summoned it on several occasions afterward when half the team was traversing the Underriver. She stopped using it upon rendezvousing with the rest of the squad after the mission. The dragon was malicious, going so far as to betray Lair the first opportunity it got, so it might be Lair stopped using it due to a fear of not being able to control it.
